Contact tracing for Covid-19 and Reversibility

How did we proceed:

We have conducted an ethical analysis on contact tracing apps for Covid-19 infections.

Results:

Despite potential health-promoting effects, the limited evidence on infection and risks in terms of data protection require that decisions and actions are well regulated and reversible.

What is special:

Reversibility is seen as a key ethical strategy for implementing and flexibly withdrawing technological interventions where the risk-benefit profile is uncertain.
