How did we proceed:
We conducted an ethnographic-empirical study on the #WeAreNotWaiting movement in Germany for open-source closed loop systems for type 1 diabetes therapy.
Results:
The study shows how people with type 1 diabetes are establishing new forms of self-care and political participation in the health sector through creative use of technology, collaborative learning and digital networks.
What is special:
This work is the first ethnographic study on the #WeAreNotWaiting movement in Germany.
